Webpage Sliders
For webpage sliders I had to pay attention to the creative brief to ensure not only that the image size was correct but that the necessary information was within the live area of the website. Global Imports BMW wanted a custom energetic slider that displayed information about being in possession of a college trophy. To complete this piece I used various kinds of assets, masks, layer styles and typography while also maintaining OEM compliance.
These next two pieces of creative were part of a revamp for a large client. I had to be aware of the OEM events run by CDJR and plan space for the logo. The largest challenge was to create a range of products that felt cohesive by design.
Display Ads
Subaru is one of the OEM I do display ads for, and I particularly liked my design. Normally Action shots of vehicles that work for square and landscape do not work for the narrow ads. To overcome this challenge I split the image and displayed each half separately.
The messaging for this ad was original, and my intention was to bring attention not only to the families that own Subaru, but also to the Subaru family of cars.
Email
Email designs need to get an idea across in as few words as possible. The main challenge is to maintain the voice of the OEM while also creating urgency to act. As with the Mitsubishi Webslider, I continued to use red arrows as a motif in my creative.
The image on the right was actually my design test to work at Force Marketing. I was given a design prompt to work with and told to be creative. In order to accomplish this test I performed research on effective email design and implemented what I learned while also attempting to tap into the unique voice of Recapture.
Facebook
Force Marketing is part of a program for a Business Center where we create designs unique to the OEM provided creative. For the past 6 months I have been a lead on the template creation for this Business Center, designing templates for Facebook, Video, and Display that the rest of the team uses.
